Birthed from a lineage of wild, lila roo is a nomadic nara.pashu (an animal living in human form) . from deserts to concrete jungles to seas,she uses art as a constant in her transience.her work is a unified project: to find and create dreamscapes & ritual. publicly her art often takes form as a performance act with which to engage the people and environments she inhabits with intrigue and possibility.her art is an experimental and physical act, blending body & material, natural & synthetic. an animal, she consumes and transforms materials /resources available.painfully, plastic garbage is the most plentiful resource our natural world.but she believes in beauty and so she strips it to shreds, braids it to rope and searches for settings to command it.a human of flight, her work is mobile, created with the intent to travel, to teach and to learn from the world: beast, man, child, land, air and sea.
